Welcome to 169 Cafe, nestled on Jln Desa Senadin in Lutong, Sarawak. This charming cafe serves as the perfect haven for those in search of delicious food and warm hospitality. A spot where local flavors thrive, it’s a beloved destination for both residents and visitors alike.

At 169 Cafe, the ambiance feels inviting and relaxed, making it an ideal place to catch up with friends or enjoy a peaceful meal alone. The tasteful decor and cleanliness are often noted by patrons, complementing the overall dining experience.

This cafe specializes in a variety of noodle dishes, particularly known for their pan mee and kolok mee. The pan mee is described as a delightful treat, with its chewy texture and flavorful broth that warmly hugs the palate. One satisfied customer, Caroline Muramba, praised it as “excellent pan fried noodle,” highlighting its irresistible taste. For those looking for great value, the kolok mee, priced at just RM3.00, is an affordable option that doesn’t skimp on flavor or quality, making it a fantastic choice for budget-conscious diners.

While the cafe aims for high standards, they are not without their occasional hiccups. A notable experience shared by a customer was the quick response to a minor kitchen mishap, where after discovering a worm in their soup, the staff immediately apologized and offered a replacement. Such dedicated service is a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction.

However, as with any establishment, not every dish may resonate with every palate. A customer humorously noted that the color of the char siew mee was a bit off-putting for them, suggesting that it might not be the best choice for the more color-sensitive diners.

Overall, 169 Cafe stands out not just for its food but also for its attentive service and clean environment. Whether you're in the mood for classic noodle dishes or searching for a cozy spot to relax, this cafe is definitely worthy of a visit.

Nice pan mee and nice service. I found a vege worm in the mee soup and they immediately apologize and offer to change a new one to me. But the char Siew mee color is too scary to me lol don’t recommend it.
